I have posted a link down in "My Links" which will take you to a map of St. George, Utah. The pin-pointed locations are the places I visit quite often. It was really simple to add and it is something that I can continually add to.

Pictures!!!
So I learned that I can post the links to my Facebook photo albums here on my blog. I've already put one of the links at the bottom of the page and I am in the process of adding more. This is a neat feature because people who visit my blog can access some of my pictures that will help them to get to know me.

Wikis and Delicious Bookmarking
I just started my own Wiki on www.wikispaces.com (see link at bottom of blog). Right now it is geared toward creating a story that any one can contribute to. I recently learned what a Wiki is. They are webpages that can be openly editted. That's why I thought the story that anyone can add to. It should be interesting to see how it turns out. Be sure to sign up and add a sentence or two to it.
Also I started a bookmarking account on Delicious to help me save my most frequently visited websites. It might be helpful as a resource to get more done on the internet quicker. See the link below to check it out.

Starting anew!!!
Ok everyone!! I just figured out what I'm supposed to be doing with this blog! I am supposed to add a weekly post reporting on what I am learning and doing in the world of technology. So starting now I will be only posting technology related items. I will probably start another blog for personal use and I'll let you know if that happens.

Biggest Blunder of Them All
So last Saturday I was schedualed to have my group interview for admittance into DSC's Elementary Education program. I signed up for an interview time weeks ago. The time I had entered into my phone was 8 am. After a long wait, the day finally came. I got up early and I got all ready, I even gave myself a few minutes to study up on some controversial educational issues. I drive over to campus only to find an empty parking lot and locked doors to the building I was supposed to be in. I started to get a little nervous as I waited for for than twenty minutes and still no one turned up. I drove around campus to see if I had written down the wrong location. Nothing. I decided to go home and return in an hour or so to see if it started later.
I headed back to campus at about 9:45 am and to my horror, the parking lot was filled and the light to classroom where the interview was being held was on. I ran to the door and saw that the group interview had already started. I was devastated when I found out that it had actually started at nine. I talked to Dr. Sabey afterwards and she said she would talk to the faculty to see what they could work out in my behalf. It was an awful mistake and I feel horrible. There is only a small window of hope for me to be accepted into the program now. I just pray that the faculty sees me as someone who would never really make that mistake. Now I'm playing the waiting game.
